Common questions

FAQS

🩸

Apart from the tests listed, do you do any other blood tests?

Yes. The menu above features our most frequently requested tests, but it is by no means exhaustive. If you need a specific test not listed, simply inquire with us and we will give you a direct price quote

🩸

How long does it take for the results?

The turnaround for most blood tests is 1-2 workings days. Tests that require culturing take 2-3 working days.

🩸

Are my results shared with my GP?

No. We do not share your results with anyone without your permission.

🩸

Is there any preparation on my part before I arrive to the appointment?

Drink plenty of water before you arrive. Being well-hydrated increases your blood volume, making your veins plumper and significantly easier for our team to locate.

🩸

How do I get the results?

Your contact details will be double checked during the appointment. Results will be sent as an email that is password protected. You will receive a text message with the passcode to open the email. This is very secure and is our preferred method of delivery.

🩸

Do you do testosterone testing?

Yes.

🩸

Do I need to fast before the blood test?

Some tests (like cholesterol or random blood glucose screening) require you to fast—meaning no food or drink except plain water—for 8 to 12 hours before your appointment. HbA1C does not require fasting.

🩸

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (except American Express). You can also pay cash if you wish.

🩸

Can I book a late appointment with you during the week?

Yes. If you pre-book you can attend as late as 7:30pm Mon-Fri. This makes us the latest opening Clinic in Farnborough.
